News came this week that Google has partnered with Intel, Sony and Logitech to develop the technology that will allow people to access the same web services on their TV that they're currently using on their computers and cell phones. Google is adapting their Chrome web browser and Android phone OS to work with a new breed of set-top boxes built with intel hardware customized to work with Sony televisions. Logitech is contributing a TV remote that includes a built-in keyboard that will provide the same functionality that people have been enjoying with devices like the iPhone and personal computers. If googling from your couch sounds like a good time to you, this might just be the tech toy you've been waiting for!
